Jennifer Feil, MA, LLPC
Limited Licensed Professional Counselor

Life can bring many hardships including challenging relationships, job loss, death, divorce, and more.  We can sometimes be consumed by the hurt and pain we encounter.

We may end up feeling out of control or finding that our ways of thinking and behaving are no longer working.  Often this distress manifests in symptoms such as anxiety, depression, physical health concerns, and more.  Counseling is a safe place where we can explore these hardships and symptoms together.  My goal is to honor your autonomy without judgment while empowering you to create meaningful, intentional living.

My approach to the therapeutic process involves collaboration with my clients in order to establish a treatment plan and goals that fit their unique needs.  I work from an eclectic approach including person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and inner child work, to assist clients in gaining curiosity about and acceptance of thoughts, feelings, and actions.  I believe that as people become more accepting of themselves through self-exploration, they become more capable of making choices that facilitate positive change in their lives.

I enjoy working with adults who are experiencing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relational challenges, grief and loss, past trauma, and life transitions.  Reaching out to a counselor is a courageous act of self-compassion; I look forward to hearing from you and working together!
