Hello, my name is Alyssa Baker.

I am a NCCPA certified Physician Assistant. I graduated from University of Pittsburgh in 2015 with my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Although I was born and raised in Detroit, I began my career in Emergency and Urgent Care Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA. After moving back home, I had the opportunity to shift my specialty to psychiatry, which has been a longstanding goal in my career. Mental health has always been a priority to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity to help those seeking a safe space in order to help themselves.

I work with children ages 12+, adolescents and adults of all ages. I am able to perform initial psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and diagnose and treat within the psychiatric specialty. My practice is based on the strong belief that trust between patient and provider, as well as sustaining an open flow of communication, and ongoing union of medications and psychotherapy will guide us to the best possible results.
